Rowing is great cardiovascular exercise that requires equal effort from your upper and lower body, building muscular endurance and core strength. This routine couples row boats with two other core-focused total body exercises. All three exercises activate both upper and lower body simultaneously while engaging the abs and back for stability and strength.
CHALLENGE
Incorporating a weight (medicine ball, dumbell, or kettlebell) with these exercises will increase the challenge and the calorie burn. However, do not add the weight until you are confident and stable using only your body weight as resistance.
